“Chinese Active Summer Fun”will officially commence

This academic year, the school is focusing on the physical development of young children and is aligning with the lively and active nature of the children. The summer activities will officially commence on Monday, July 29th. Based on the characteristics of the children, the school has designed a summer activity called “Chinese Active Summer Fun” that combines Chinese culture, physical training, and outdoor exploration. The activity aims to allow the children to learn through play, lead the children out of the campus for off-campus experiential learning, so that they can learn through sensory and direct experience, while also understanding Chinese culture in different areas. While the children appreciate the charm of Chinese culture, they can also improve their physical fitness and have an unforgettable and rewarding summer activity.

The summer activity will last for 4 weeks. Some activities (such as water play) require parents to prepare the necessary tools for their children and bring them back to school. Parents are requested to read the relevant notice carefully and prepare the required items for their children as specified. Below is an introduction to the activities and the schedule.


“July and August Dual Monthly Birthday Celebration” on July 19, 2024 (Friday)

“July and August Dual Monthly Birthday Celebration “will be held on July 19, 2024 (Friday). Apart from teaching children to extend their birthday wishes to their peers, also engage them in games to learn about the Chinese solar term “Shǔ” and its relationship with summer. They will gain an understanding of how people cool off during the hot weather and develop gratitude towards those who serve us during the scorching summer. “Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day holiday” on July 1, 2024

July 1, 2024 (Monday) is the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day holiday. The school will be closed for one day. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. The flag-raising ceremony will be held on June 28 (Friday).


“Joint Graduation Ceremony” on June 21, 2024

June 21, 2024 (Friday) is the Joint Graduation Ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year. All teachers will attend the ceremony, and therefore, the school will be closed for one day. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

“Parent-Child Sports Day and Flag Raising Ceremony” on June 7, 2024

Parent-Child Sports Day and Flag Raising Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024. The school will organize the event at the Po Wing Road Sports Hall in Sheung Shui. The purpose is to promote physical and mental well-being through beneficial physical activities, cultivate cooperation between parents and children, and allow parents to understand the gross motor development process in different age groups. K2 visit “Sha Tin Traffic Safety Town” on May 30, 2024

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, K2 will visit the Sha Tin Traffic Safety Town to enhance the children’s awareness of road safety. Please refer to the relevant notice for more details.


“Exploring Replicas to Understand Chinese History” field trip on March 23, 2024 (Thursday)

On Thursday, May 23, 2024, K3 will participate in the “Exploring Replicas to Understand Chinese History” field trip. Through exploring and handling replica artifacts, we hope to enhance the children’s interactivity and cultivate their appreciation for Chinese traditional culture. “May and June Dual Birthday Celebration” on May 17, 2024 (Friday)

“May and June Dual Birthday Celebration “will be held on May 17, 2024 (Friday). Apart from teaching children to extend their birthday wishes to their peers, the school has arranged a series of activities, including puppet shows and mask making, to guide children in understanding the Chinese classic “Journey to the West” and appreciate traditional Chinese craftsmanship. May 15, 2024 (Wednesday) is the Buddha’s birthday holiday

May 15, 2024 (Wednesday) is a public holiday for Buddha’s Birthday. On May 14, the school has designated it as “Vegetarian Day” to familiarize students with the festival. On that day, a vegetarian menu will be provided, allowing children to experience the culture of healthy vegetarianism. The school will announce the special menu for “Vegetarian Day” through electronic notifications at a later date. Please stay tuned for further information.
